jackie and javier engaged | chicago wedding photographer

Anyway, I flew out to Chicago last fall to shoot the engagement portraits of Jackie and Javier. I was so excited when Jackie asked me to be her wedding photographer! So of course I said yes! I was also excited that they wanted to take most of their portraits at Chicago’s Navy Pier because I love it there! We also took some time to walk around and shoot at locations near the pier, like a cute park.

San Francisco engagement portraits – destination wedding

Ok so it’s seriously been months since this session….I have been so overwhelmed by work and traveling, I haven’t been able to update this blog site =( I know it’s the same excuse, but it’s my life and my reality.
It’s been a very tough last five months, both personally and professionally. I’ve expanded my business to McAllen Texas, which is good of course. But it’s been a hard journey…literally! Traveling to move things here was tough! And since then I’ve been going back and forth between Phoenix and McAllen. So to say that I’ve been busy is an understatement. And personally, well that I will keep to myself, but growing is hard. And being apart from the one you love is very hard.
